Press Release

Lost Business Documents, Family Video or Photos? Don't Panic Over Lost Data. Try CDRoller.

Sarasota, Florida, USA, March 25, 2024 - Digital Atlantic Corporation has released CDRoller 12 for Windows XP/2003/Vista/7/8/8.1/10/11, handy and reliable software for data recovery from optical discs (CD/DVD/Blu-ray), hard and ssd drives, memory cards and other types of Windows drives.

CDRoller 12 gains a direct access to the unfinalized discs with video and pictures taken by DVD cameras and standalone video recorders for home use. When the recorded footages seem to be lost due to the Disk Error message, or bad quality of DVD media, or disc finalization was accidently interrupted, or the old camcorder is now broken.

CDRoller 12 directly retrieves video files from not properly finalized discs, created by wide set of DVD camcorders (Hitachi, Panasonic, Sony, etc.), standalone DVD recorders (Lite-On, Thomson RCA, Philips, Panasonic, etc.) and VHS-DVD combo recorders. The program also converts the recovered video into MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 files and writes a new DVD-video disc that can be played back on the most DVD players.

CDRoller 12 gains a direct access to the discs with UDF file system that seem to be inaccessible for new versions of Windows, including unfinalized ('open', 'left as-is') discs, incorrectly recorded CDs and DVDs, the discs with corrupted folders, finalized with errors, etc. When the old disc looks like an unreadable after Windows upgrade.

CDRoller 12 offers a set of options for data recovery specialists, including creating images for entire drive or selected partition, a low-level search of sector data, sectors viewing and copying, files scanning for particular content, regardless of the file names and/or extensions, etc.

A new version of CDRoller offers Batch Video converter, DVD-Video Playability tester, updated Scan UDF Disc, NTFS and ReFS readers.

CDRoller 12 costs $49.00(US) for a personal license. Business licenses and volume discounts are also available.
